We’re always passionate about helping breweries expand, just ask the 30BBL brewhouse we helped install in Charlottesville Virginia, and with the expanding brewery market in North Carolina, we’re excited to announce our involvement in the expansion of Charlotte’s Legion Brewery!
North Carolina, and especially Charlotte’s, brewery scene have been expanding for the past few years with over 132 craft breweries and everything for patrons to enjoy from a quick flight to a full beer garden experience. In fact, North Carolina has recently taken the lead for the state with the largest brewing industry amongst the south. This influx of interest in craft beer and all the fun ways to experience it have led to a rise in jobs and more specifically the growth of one Legion Brewing Company located in Charlotte at the epicenter of North Carolina’s brewing scene.

Introducing Charlotte’s Legion Brewing
When you take a closer look at Legion Brewery it’s easy to see why it’s expanding and what makes it so special. Opened a few years ago as the first brewery in Charlotte’s Midwood area, the bar features a distinct style having a roof of 100% reclaimed wood as well as it’s bar. That aesthetic isn’t just about looks, locals know it exemplifies the hard working American spirit that Legion was founded on by Phil Buchy and cousins Newton and Bill Craver.
But don’t let its looks fool you into thinking it’s all flash and no substance, their best selling Juicy Jay IPA as well as over 10 other in-house beers on tap give customers a range of choices that all are perfect 10’s in taste. Legion has always been a supporter of ours, choosing to use our 30BBL tanks and showing them off in their custom brewhouse that’s visible from inside the location.
CLT and HLT tanks for sale from Legion Brewing
Of course with expansion comes the bigger tanks, that we are proud to supply Legion Brewing with, but this also means they have an opportunity for other brewers to follow in their footsteps. Legion Brewing is currently working to get rid of the two 30BBL tanks that have served them so well the past two years. The Cold and Hot Liquor tanks are in perfect shape and would be a great cost-effective addition to a smaller North Carolina brewery looking to begin their own brewery without spending too much on expensive new tanks and instead sticking with beautiful, used brewery equipment.
If you’re looking for a cost-effective solution for your cold and hot liquor tanks at your North Carolina or even Charlotte brewery contact us and get a price quote to see if we can help you expand your brewery operations.
Even if you’re not necessarily interested in two 30BBL tanks we have solutions for all your brewing needs in North Carolina, so give us a call or email and see how we can help you expand your business with the best products available.
