 Welder/Fitter

  • REQUIRES 5 years minimum experience as fitter or layout able
    to interpret shop drawings of fabricated assemblies
  • MUST EFFECTIVELY READ BLUEPRINTS to be hired
  • Desire MIG/FCAW/TIG skills

Outline of Benefits:

Insurance – eligible after 90 days of employment

  • Medical and dental insurance is available to an employee and their dependants. Smart Machines pays 60% of the premiums.
  • Life insurance on employee (1 times your yearly salary up to $100,000) and dependent life (1,000 per dependent) is paid 100% by Smart Machines.
  • Short-term disability for the employee only is paid 100% by Smart Machines.

Holidays – eligible after 90 days of employment

  • New Years Day
  • Easter Monday
  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving (2 Days)
  • Christmas (2 Days)

Vacations

Vacation is granted after one (1) year of employment. Must be taken prior to December 31st of the year earned.

  • 2 to 3 years – 1 week yearly
  • 3 to 10 years – 2 weeks yearly
  • 10 or more years – 3 weeks yearly

401K
Employees are eligible after sixty days of uninterrupted employment. Employee must be 21 years old. A new employee may roll over an existing 401k into our plan immediately upon eligibility. Smart Machines will contribute 10% on each dollar, up to 6% of the employee’s gross salary.

Profit Sharing

Paid quarterly based on actual performance verses the annual operating plan.

School Reimbursement

  • If your grade is a C you will be reimbursed at 60%.
  • If your grade is a B you will be reimbursed at 70%.
  • If your grade is an A you will be reimbursed at 80%.

Flexible Spending Account (Health)
Flexible spending account allows an employee to set aside, “pre-tax $”, and monies to be reimbursed for their deductibles, co-payments and non-covered expenses.  This will lower your taxable income for the year.

Flexible spending account allows an employee to set aside, “pre-tax $”, and monies to be reimbursed for their dependant care charges.  This will lower your taxable income for the year.
